Creeks & Wetlands

Arcata's creeks and wetlands are managed to optimize fish and wildlife habitat, public use, recreation, water quality and to fulfill aspects of Arcata’s Creeks Management Plan and the City Municipal Code dealing with erosion and sediment control.
Volunteer at one of the City of Arcata's work days and be a steward to Arcata's natural resources. No experience is necessary, only a willingness to pitch in. Access the Volunteer Work Day Schedule (PDF) for more information.
