The City of Arcata is soliciting bids for the REBID OF SIDEWALK AND VALLEY WEST PARK IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT 2018.

The WORK consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, incidentals and implementation of all work required to perform sidewalk and Valley West Park improvements. The project includes, but is not limited to: installing a basketball court, removing sidewalk, curb and gutter, installing new sidewalk, curb, gutters and ramps, concrete bus stop pads, installing bus shelters and benches and constructing a pedestrian refuge.  Engineer’s Estimate is $300,000.

A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 14th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.  Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is not mandatory. The meeting will begin at the Arcata City Hall in the City Council Chamber (736 “F” Street, Arcata, CA 95521.

Sealed bids will be received by the City Manager’s Office, 736 F Street, Arcata, CA 95521, until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 21st, 2019, at which time they will be transferred to the City Council Chambers where they will be publicly opened and read aloud by the City Engineer or his designated representative. Said bids will be referred to the Arcata City Council for consideration at their next regularly scheduled meeting on or after April 17th, 2019.
