The City of Arcata has partnered with the Arcata Economic Development Corporation, Arcata Main Street and the Arcata Chamber of Commerce to distribute free N-95 regulation face masks to small businesses and nonprofits to use in response to Humboldt County’s reinstated mask mandate.
The City of Arcata will host Arcata’s free mask distribution on Tuesday, August 24 from 10 AM to 4 PM in the City Hall parking lot. Arcata City Hall is located at 736 F Street, and the parking lot can be found on 7th Street outside of the Arcata Library.
Business and nonprofits may order their masks in advance online here, and masks will be distributed until supplies run out.
Masks will be distributed at no cost thanks to a contribution from the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services, the Office of the Small Business Advocate and PPE Unite. Following the distribution, local businesses may schedule a time to pick up additional masks at one of several partner locations in Humboldt County by visiting ppeunite.org.
