NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)

ENGINEERING SERVICES DURING CONSTRUCTION 

FOR PHASE I - ARCATA WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

The City of Arcata is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide engineering services during construction for Phase I of the Arcata Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvement Project in Arcata, California.  The City intends to enter an agreement with a qualified firm that will work in coordination with the City’s construction management team to provide engineering services during the construction phase of the project, including review of the City’s selected Construction Contractor’s submittals and shop drawings, responding to Requests for Information, preparing design clarifications, reviewing change order requests, and providing as-built record drawings based on changes made, and assisting with start-up, commissioning, and close-out of the project.

Sealed proposals and electronic submittals will be received at the City Manager’s Office, 736 f Street, Arcata, California until 4:30 p.m. PST on Thursday, August 11 25, 2022. Proposals will be evaluated and ranked by a selection committee. The award for this contract is anticipated to be made at the Arcata City Council’s meeting on or after September 7, 2022.
