Annually, the Arcata Chamber of Commerce hosts the State of the City. At this event, city staff, councilmembers, and other integral community members come together to present on what Arcata has accomplished in the past year, present ideas for what's to come in the city, and give an overall idea of how the City is doing on certain key issues and areas of interest.
This year's event will feature presentations from Councilmember and Chamber Executive Director Meredith Matthews, City Manager Merritt Perry, and Cal Poly Humboldt Interim President Michael E. Spagna.
Light refreshments will be provided by Redwood Capital Bank before the program and a short Q & A will be hosted after the program.
The 2o25 State of the City will take place at the Arcata Playhouse from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 16th. It is free to attend for Chamber of Commerce Members and $15 for everyone else. To learn more and register, visit the chamber of commerce website.
