[ARCHIVED] Sea Level Rise Awareness Art Contest - Submit Your Entry Soon

October is Sea Level Rise Awareness Month, and the community is invited to help raise awareness by creating artwork that depicts sea level rise.  The winner of the contest will re-create their work at Pastels on the Plaza on October 7th.

Work should be 1' by 2' or similarly proportioned.  The Artist will need to be available on October 7th for Pastels on the Plaza, where City staff will be available with sea level rise information.

The winning entry will be announced on 09-29-17.  All work will be on display during the month of October.

There are other Sea Level Rise Awareness events the public is heartily encouraged to attend, including a trail walk and community gathering, also on October 7th.  Be part of the public process in your City, and make your voice heard!
