The City of Arcata is reaching out to the community for those that are interested in volunteering and participating in the 16th Annual Bike Rodeo.
Bike Rodeos are communal events that help kids practice bicycle transportation safety. Bike rodeos are facilitated by knowledgeable, skilled and trained instructors and incorporate different activities to engage and educate the next generation of bicyclists and promote safety in the community. In honor of Bike Month in May, the City of Arcata is preparing for this year’s Bike Rodeo by reaching out to the public for community member volunteers and local outdoor and bicycling shops to help facilitate this year’s rodeo.
This year’s Annual Bike Rodeo will take place on Saturday, May 10 from 10 a.m. to noon and will take place at Fuente Nueva Charter School, 1730 Janes Rd in Arcata. The City is pleased to be partnering with Dalton Lee of WildTrail Tours, who will be assisting in facilitating the event.
Individuals and organizations that are interested in assisting with this year’s bike rodeo are encouraged to call or text Dalton Lee at (707)-613-1333 or email wildtrailtours@gmail.com for more information.
