Library Conference Room Use Permit Packet (PDF)

The Library Conference Room is well suited for small groups with a maximum capacity of 33. Use of this room is limited to meetings and conferences only; private parties or revenue generating activities are prohibited. The conference room is conveniently located at the Arcata Library, 500 7th street, just behind City Hall. A Library Conference Room reservation packet may be downloaded and completed from the link below.

The conference room includes:

  • 4 rectangular folding tables
  • 1 half round table
  • 30 folding chairs
  • Small Sink
  • White Board (pens not provided)


Rental fees and proof of insurance are due prior to use of the facility. Reservations should be made as early as possible to avoid schedule conflicts. At least 48 hours notice of cancellation is requested.

Non-profit agencies receive a 20% discount. You must provide a Non-Profit ID number.

School districts within Arcata must have a joint use agreement on file with the City of Arcata to receive discounted rates. You must provide a Non-Profit ID number.


Keys to facilities must be checked out each time the room is used. Keys may be picked up at the Arcata Recreation Division Office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
