Insurance Requirements
Insurance is required for all Specialty Permits except as otherwise prohibited by law or in the event an exemption is obtained from the City Manager. When required insurance must be submitted to the Arcata Recreation Division 7 business days prior to the event, event holder will provide:
- A Certificate of Insurance of $2,000,000 liability coverage, City of Arcata form preferred (General Aggregate and Each Occurrence)
- An endorsement, naming the "City of Arcata, it's elected or appointed officers, officials, employees and volunteers" as additionally insured. Please use form CG 20 10 10 01
- The endorsement must also provide a statement that the insurance will be primary and that the insurance will not be cancelled without prior 30 day written notice given to the City of Arcata
