Meeting Minutes, Agendas & Archives

The City Council, commissions, committees, or task forces of the City meet at a designated time and place to consider any item or subject matter within the City's jurisdiction. Meetings must be open to the public as set forth in the Ralph M. Brown Act (California Government Code Sections 54950, et seq.). Meetings are conducted using Rosenberg's Rules of Order. Because the formal process for conducting City meetings is not always familiar to the general public, the City Council has developed a helpful Speaker's Guide to Addressing the City Council (PDF).

Agenda Posting

City Council Agendas are posted on the Friday preceding the meeting. All meeting agendas are posted outside the F Street entrance to City Hall on the bulletin board and on the City's website by 5 p.m. on Fridays. Citizens may pick up meeting agendas in the City Hall lobby beginning on the Friday preceding a meeting. To view meeting agendas, please visit the City Council Agendas and Archives page.

Watch Meetings

A copy of the City Council agenda packet, with all supporting documents, is available in the binder in the lobby at City Hall or on our Watch Meetings page.
