Business License Tax Based By Employee


Business License Tax is waived with proof of nonprofit status:
  • Base License Tax (includes 1 employee) $40
  • 2 - 20 Employees (per each): $10
  • 21 - 70 Employees (per each): $5 (No additional cost for 71 employees or higher)
  • Part-Time: $5

License Fee, General, Outside City


  • $40 per year

Contractors & Subcontractors


  • Contractors: $50 per year
  • Subcontractors: $50 per year or $10 per job not to exceed $50

Apartments, Motels, Hotels, Trailer Courts & Rooming Houses


  • Base Business License Tax (includes the first 3 units, or the first 5 tenants for Rooming Houses): $40
  • Apartments - Per unit over 3: $5
  • Rooming Houses - Per tenant over 5: $2
  • Motels, Hotel, Trailer Courts Per tenant over 4: $2

Automobile Parking Spaces


  • 25 or less spaces: $25
  • More than 25, Less than 50: $50
  • 50 and over: $75

Carnival & Circus


  • $50 per day

Bowling Alleys, Pool Halls & Billiard Parlors


  • Pool Halls and Billiard Parlors: $10 per table with a minimum of $40
  • Bowling Alley: $10 per alley (lane) with a minimum of $40
  • Card Rooms: $100 per year per table

Mini Storage


  • 20 or less units: $40
  • 21 to 40 units: $50
  • 41 and over: $75

Fireworks, Christmas Trees, Seasonal Items, Festivals, Fairs, Miscellaneous Vendors or Craft Sales


  • $40 per year, if paid yearly
  • $20 per booth

Golf Courses & Rifle Ranges


  • $50 per year

Special Sales, Bankrupt Sales & Solicitors


  • $50 per day

    General Fees


    • Processing Fee: $10/new license, $5/renewal license
    • Planning Compliance Fee: $20/new license, $10/renewal license
    • State CASp Fee: $4
    • Address/Owner Change: $5
    • Reprint of License: $5
